Who's watching it tonight?

I was a big fan of the show in the early 80s...so I'll have to give it a go.

Quite sad, however, that Marc Singer doesn't appear to have even a cameo part in it! :(

We are dvr-ing it and watching it tonight. I'm going to give it a try since it was something I remember watching with my dad as a teen. Should be interesting.

I used to watch this on JAP TV. They used to have V custome days on some of their game shows. It was a big thing over there.

There's too young, way too young, and downright tragic... that's terrible :(

My father had to get triple bypass surgery when he was 50, he woulda definitely not made it, he got lucky and had a dizzy spell when he took a walk at lunch one day. He already knew he had cholesterol problems (hereditary) and all that, so he got his ass in for the stress test/catherization. He had a 100% clogged, a 90% clogged, and a 50% clogged artery. The so-called "Widowmaker" which I'm sure you know in your line of work is the one that kills otherwise healthy younger men out of nowhere was the 100% clogged one. Very scary/lucky.

Yeah, he died of a brain aneurysm so it was very unexpected and shocking for us. I'm 41 so the thought of him being 46 at the time is really eye opening as to how young he was.

I'm glad your dad knew the signs and got help quick and he's okay!

I wanted to see it too, but I assume it's on Sci-Fi and I don't presently have that network.

I looked for it and couldn't find it so it must be sci-fi.

I loved the original version of this show back in the day and hated having to wait until the next week to continue the show. Pissed me off to no end. I think I'm going to have to find the old series on DVD now....

I loved Marc Singer and miss his roles. I have a friend who is a character actor and he had a small part in the original V. He told me that at some sci-fi or comic book convention a few years ago (can't remember which one one), he and Marc Singer had tables right next to each other and almost no one was coming up to Marc, but there was a huge line for some "porn star" girl at another table. Not sure who it was, but wow... I dang sure would have loved to meet Marc Singer!

Watched it...

freakin terrible. Which means the stupid masses will like it - fits right in with Dancing With the Stars. I am embarrassed for all the good actors they sucked into this pile of crap project.

Yeah, the original "Independence Day". So much of ID was ripped off from V. Oh, well.

I was reading there is talk a V movie from the orignal creater...at least he is trying to get it done.

Yeah, the Beastnaster himself.

My favorite was always Michael Ironside's character...gotta love the 'bad' good guy.
