Another shooting rampage in Orlando

Postby Blueskies » Sat Nov 07, 2009 4:10 am

Watching coverage of it right now on CNN. An office building in Orlando near Lake Ivanhoe.
So far reports say 8 people shot and the shooter has not been found yet . People shot on different floors, possibly. The police are going floor to floor clearing the building. :(

I used to be in that building a lot. There was a Workers' Comp division in there for Travelers at one time (when they were in here) and their inhouse lawyers, and you had to sign in to get in and I believe had a secured floor. Many times you have irate claimants who have threatened the adjusters with guns, or attorneys.

Eight people shot, and two are dead. I couldn't get downtown and had to turn around and go home b/c I-4 is backed up.

Jason Rodriguez. Has fled in SUV.

Said maybe a former employee or employee in the building.

Crazy. This truly is becoming terrifying. Anywhere you turn anymore, there's nothing but public shootings and opening fire on either crowds, or in a building. Over the past couple months or so, this is the 3rd shooting that is tragic.. one being 2 consecutive days. Could this be apart of a copy cat? Or maybe a terrorist related? Disturbing thing is, this creep fled and is NOT caught yet. Who knows what's on this guys mind.

Strange to see I-4 on tv with no traffic. What I don't get is that they are looking for him, they think he left in his vehicle, but yet not all police dept's in the area were called to watch for him. Unless they know which direction he fled and the media has no clue yet. hmm

According to report, he was a former employee in that building. Probably a disgruntled schizo went rampage.

She's like a star these last few years there's been so much violence in Orlando, between being on TV and the radio with her segments.
