Hobbito is still pretty big in Norway. Done some stuff with Willie Nelson as well - albeit his voice has gotten a lot more coarse.

This album was country influenced, which was so surprising, but his voice lends itself well to it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsrZz-lQQ4c another song from his new CD
But songs from his album before his voice was so amazing:
This song I loved Push Push

I hadn't remembered his name but did see that World Idol show, thinking he was so much better than Kelly, and couldn't believe he didn't win. Now hearing his voice again, I'm sure I'll buy some of his music. Thanks from me as well for bringing this to our attention! Kurt is great!

I thought he did win, and Kelly was pissed off.

You're absolutely right
of course. Must have been thinking of something earlier in the competition.

I don't really consider any singer on American Idol good unless they sing the music I listen to (which, until this year, didn't happen.)
For that to happen, my hopes fall on Carly Smithson, who now has the original lineup of Evanescence castoffs behind her back. I'll be anticipating We Are The Fallen in 2010.
I did have some hope for Kelly Clarkson after she wrote 'My December.' I was disappointed she never followed it up with another one like it.

I found this a year ago. Kurt Nilsen in it also as one of the singers. So nice to see just a beautiful organic performance with the simplicity of vocals and just accompanying guitar, and great harmony, no bells and whistles. 16 million views.
