I've recently become an unhappy customer of Verizon, thanks Alltel!
I swore I would not purchase anything until it is proven that I can finish ONE
conversation without being dropped!! However, I am intrigued by the Droid..
how do you like it, SR?!?!

You must live in the wrong part of the country for Verizon. It's every other carrier other than Verizon that has endless dropped calls around these parts. In fact, I don't know that I've ever heard that complaint from a Verizon customer.

Clones aren't always a bad thing. Honda built an entire company (and a quite successful one, at that) by copying EVERYTHING Toyota does!

When I lived out west I had to get Verizon in order to get ANY reception in most places including my office and my apartment! I had AT&T which then became Cingular... and they both sucked. I've never had a problem with Verizon, except that it's too expensive. Plus I have to change my contract in about a month and they're going to want an insane deposit, so I will have no choice but to switch. Probably going to be Tmobile, but not sure yet. Tmobile seems to have OK reception where I am.

My mother said the same thing!!! I don't know much about this, but
when Verizon merged w/Alltel you'd think the towers would go w/them.
I'm not understanding this sudden connection problem!! Most of my
calls are hitting a tower in Dallas (2.5 hrs from me)!! None-the-less
my family (in Michigan) are all happy Verizon customers and want
me to stick it out!!

I LOVE MY T-MOBLIE 3G touch screen. Had the blackberry Pearl loved that too... awesome phones and works great over seas when traveling.
