Why? The judge is a jerk. The jury off its gord and this guy needs to go to the press and make a major stink. I mean embarase the daylights out of the justice system stink. This sounds like a case for the American Press.........If anyone can embarase the crap out of local judges its our American Media Corportation. Hello sir, I see your on the toilet, could you answer a few questions as to why you handed down such a stupid sentence on that poor upstanding citizen? No I won't pass the toilet paper, please answer the question.

That is unfortunately true.

I'm sorry, but would any of you do what this guy did? Ring up the local precinct (a day after you've found it, and gotten your fingerprints all over it, obliterating any other potential marks on the weapon), tell them you're stopping by but not tell them why and show up, and take out a sawed off shotgun without even giving a warning what's in the bag.

There has to be more to this story.

In his statement, he said: “I took it indoors and inside found a shorn-off shotgun and two cartridges.

“I didn’t know what to do, so the next morning I rang the Chief Superintendent, Adrian Harper, and asked if I could pop in and see him.

“At the police station, I took the gun out of the bag and placed it on the table so it was pointing towards the wall.”
