Yngwie Malmsteen Covers Beat It!

Yngwie Malmsteen will release a new album called "High Impact" on December 8 (one day earlier internationally). The set is described as "a mind-boggling, high-paced instrumental compilation record" featuring a "surprise" bonus track — Yngwie's never-before-released interpretation of the MICHAEL JACKSON mega-hit classic "Beat It", which contains Malmsteen's own magical touch and Tim Ripper Owens on Vocals...

Satch, as great as he is , writes a lot of boring music ,,,, the others you mentioned could never play stuff like this

These pissing matches are goofy. yngwie, satch, timmons, and buckethead are all masters of their craft. Buckethead is a little out there for my tastes musically but I'm not gonna sit here and say he can only do "one thing." Great musicians all of them. I'm very partial to Satch myself, but discovering Yngwie is probably a big part of why I'm here on this board today... he was my springboard into playing the guitar again after I had quit and then once I started playing guitar I stared getting into all the great AOR players as well.
