I miss the 80s too! I heard three different songs today that were also from soundtracks and made me want to watch 'Top Gun', 'Flashdance', and 'Desperately Seeking Susan' and brought back a lot of memories. Whatever happened to great soundtracks? It's all hiphop and rap now in a misguided effort to be "cool". Well who is going to hear that on the radio 20 years later and wax nostalgic? Most of those songs are forgettable 30 seconds after you hear them.

Poor bastard. I feel bad for you youngins who have gone through life having never really experiencing the real Journey. I can't even wrap my head around the fact that for the younger generation, they actually think Augeri was Journey. ARRRGHHHHHHHHH

CLASS of 1980... that decade ruled... partying every night well at least through the mid 80s... most music was GREAT... the hair bands...the classic rock guys of today were the IT bands during that time... RADIO was king... and MTV played Music... ESPN was born!! Twins win a world Series!! The Mickey video was cheesy... that song was a hit at twins games when Mickey Hatcher was playing.

i was in my late teens through 20's in the 1980's, so i thoroughly enjoyed that decade. i thought that life would be rock stars & aquanet forever. i'm using less hairspray nowadays, but i try my best to keep close to the rock & roll.

Rock and Roll, Fan Asylum, Journey, and all the 80's fixins for me too............with a side of of fries!
I miss the music and the fun I had in college......that was when Dan and I met............and dated.............and laughed ourselves senseless. Being thrown in the college lilly pool more times than I can count. Rough week ..........and goofy antics all over campus.........the endless fun with friends.............sigh..........don't get me started.

I wish I was in my mid-twenties back in the early 80s instead of now.
I've just always been drawn to the culture of the decade, even before I was into AOR... 80s movies were always my favorite, 80s music vids, 80s cartoons etc.

I was a kid in the 80' but i can really relate to this decade more than the 90', love the atari games, the cartoons, the music, the movies, the clothes (well not really, ugly colours, but love the 80' type of beauty)
The movies that mark me in the 80', were Labyrinth,Lost Boys, and The wall

I miss nothing about the gay, techno pop, British crap for songs of the 80s. 70s music rules.
For the record...nothing wrong with being gay, just didn't like that music. Blech!
