I'll be interviewing Kelly Hansen very early next week, and I'm fielding questions! Just head to the link below and submit them - deadline is Sunday night.

This won't win any points for originality, but I'm always interested to hear how frontmen maintain their voice and warm up.
JSS, Bobby Kimball, and Augeri have answered this in-depth, would like to hear what Kelly does to prevent from blowing his pipes on tour.

Also, if you're really feeling bold, ask him why the new album doesn't rock more?

Ask if he prefers touring in the States or Europe. The crowds over there seem much more enthusiastic from what I can see in the Youtube videos.

Yep...the voice question was on my list - I'm very curious about that as well.

I'll definitely get into the # of ballads on the album as well.

Thanks for the Qs!

Here are a few: (Ok, well it turned out to be more than a few) :)

1. Kelly/Foreigner fans mostly know this story; however, with the new fans from recent shows as well as the new CD, they might like to hear the story of how he joined Foreigner.

2. Favorite Foreigner song to sing?

3. Kelly has done several cover songs during his career (such as Journey, Def Leppard) Any other artist/song he would like to cover?

4. Most Kelly fans know that Kelly is committed to "going green." Tell us more about your commitment and efforts.

5. In the last few months Kelly has started using Twitter to communicate with fans. THANK YOU! We hope he will continue! How is he enjoying using new technology to keep in touch with fans?

6. On stage, Kelly has a defined style: jeans/pants with many buttons on legs, multi- chains and rings. Was this a chosen style or did it just happen? Where do you shop for those perfectly fitting jeans!?

7. Tell us a little about touring and fun on the road with Mick, Tom and the guys.

8. Other than some already scheduled dates in Germany, what plans does Foreigner have for 2010? There is word of a possible triple-bill stadium tour this summer.

9. Other than guitar, do you play any other instruments?

I promise I am done now;-)

Whoo hoo! Thanks for a great interview...and for asking some of my questions! :)
Kelly always gives it his all...he never disappoints!

And, yes...it was him personally;-0 LOL We were in the parking lot at the same time at an LA venue...and I knew about his car. Just being a fan and attending so many shows each year, I knew that "going green" was important to him and thought other fans might like to hear about his efforts.

Always amazing to hear singers who sound so much different speaking than singing.

Great job Matt, very cool to see you making a name for yourself and getting some great interviews!

Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed listening to it!

Kelly gave some great answers and really seems like a nice guy.
