How do YOU make your turkey this Thursday...

Here's one way to make it tasty and appealing :)

Ingredients:
1 whole turkey
1 large lemon, cut into halves
salt and pepper to taste
butter or olive oil, whichever you prefer

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Rub butter or oil over the skin of the turkey until it is completely coated.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper and any other seasonings you prefer.

Take a knife and gently separate the skin from the breast meat;

Slide lemon halves under the skin with the peel side up, one on

each side. This way the juice from the lemon will release into the breasts.

Cover and bake for 30-45 minutes. Remove cover and continue

to roast until juices run clear, basting every 15-20 minutes.

If you've followed these steps correctly, your turkey should

look like the one in the picture.

Bon Appetit!

Not a turkey fan, much prefer goose. But the trick with all poultry is to cook it with the breast down, which keeps the breast meat very moist and much more tender.

Though I know this thread is a joke, I've been doing the turkey day thing, a 23lb or bigger turkey for a lot of years. I do it breast up because the skin has to get crispy. I use the cooking bag because it cooks FAST and it NEVER dries out. Always juicey, never needs basting, fool proof and yum :)

women here like a bit droopy shaved balls these days. I don't know why you guys don't learn to shave down there. I bet you have more hair around your nipples than I have on my balls.

So you also love a juicy breast? :D Okay... enough joking. In all seriousness, I deep fry my turkey, and I inject it with seasoning a day before. I'd never heard of deep-frying turkeys until I moved to the south, and if you've never had one before... GO EAT ONE NOW!!!   They are so freaking good that I'm getting hungry just THINKING about it. The best part is the crunchy skin.

Pointing and laughing isn't the same thing as liking. And I bet you have more hair on your back than I have on my head.

Now if you can't make something out of that, I disown you! BTW - you and I need another hell-for-leather music swap

fry that fucker and throw it on a plate. serve with sides of cranberries, butterbeans (pass me a plateful, i'll be greatful), mashed potatoes/gravy, etc., plus lots of pie, then take a nap.

Forget the turkey - give me plate of stuffing and gravy and I'd be happy. Well, maybe pumpkin pie too. This year looks like a bowl of Cheerios after work might be the best I can do.

Not my fault you're going bald. It's part of you're aging process.
I think it's rude that guys point at your hairy nipples and laugh. But you should show them by waxing that shit off next time :D
