Actually, Jason - it's not so much I don't like JD. I love Pretty Vegas also, and most of the other songs on Switch. I just have a really hard time listening to/watching him sing songs that Hutch wrote and made famous (and performed like only he could). And I absolutely wanted JD to win Rock Star INXS - he was the only one who came close to doing justice to the songs.

I guess you could liken it to the ones who don't want to hear anyone but SP sing Journey songs .

At least when they had Carl Dixon singing with them, they weren't too bad (he's awesome and a very nice guy, I have met him). But even then, the fact they did/can use the name pisses me off.
