Okay sorry to bother y'all but can someone please post this book thread for me, I did a search and can't find it?
also...does anyone happen to have read a series of books where a man travels to different points in time such as all wars and recounts
what his experiences are...I had heard of these and can't recall the name. I'm trying to order some Christmas gifts...
thank you in advance...

I haven't read them, but could it be Simon Hawke's TimeWars series? They seem to be out of print though they are available through Amazon booksellers or probably eBay.

There is a book called The Traveler's Gift: Seven Decisions That Determine Personal Success by Andy Andrews. It's the story of a distraught man contemplating suicide who has an accident and suddenly finds himself traveling through time and meeting 7 famous and inspiring people from history including Abraham Lincoln and Anne Frank. He recounts each experience and what he learns from them. It's a great book!
