Just saw this on MSNBC and Yahoo's homepage. Developments currently in the works. This stuff is crazy to me and is one of my biggest fears. I don't know how anyone could travel in this weather if it is INDEED weather related.

Happens all the time. Out of the total number of flights a crash now and then is going happen but it's still safer than automobile travel overall. I more afraid of winter travel in a car.

In Chicago, there's a good chance more people will die in car accidents today then will have died In this plane crash.

This plane crash is clearly George Bush's fault.

If a plane crashes in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean & no one is available to be notified as next-of-kin, where are the survivors buried?

THIS JUST IN:

More ants are stomped on sidewalks in Miama each day than all the people who die from plane wrecks in the USA in a year.

That proves it's safe to fly!!

This happened about 3 miles from my house. The weather was crystal clear yesterday, so it's highly doubtful weather was a factor. Both pilots on board were killed. They're still hadn't been able to recover the bodies as of this morning because the current of the river they went down in is so strong.

I live about 7 miles from this crash. This is so very sad. When I was little, my mom worked in the restaurant at Chicago Executive Airport (used to be Palwaukee), and some of the pilots offered to take our family on a flight for fun. My mom always turned them down because of her fear of flying in small planes.
