Grab the closest book...

Postby bluejeangirl76 » Tue Jan 12, 2010 8:29 am

(stolen from facebook)

Here's the game: Grab the book nearest you. Right now.

• Turn to page 56.
• Find the fifth sentence.
• Add a reply with JUST that sentence, NOTHING else.
• Don't dig for your favorite book, or the coolest or the most intellectual book. Use the CLOSEST book.

Once the type of loading, embedment depth and edge distance are known, the appropriate influencing factor can be determined from either the tables, equations or graphs for the type of anchor under consideration.

From a HILTI Concrete Anchors vendor catalog.

In general, the Board is responsible for determining the amount of the regular assessments, but can delegate this responsibility to an officer, committee, or professional manager provided the Board retains final authority.

Compelling stuff huh.

I always find them really fast. Playboy was a client at a company I used to work for, and we got free magazines. We ALL had to pass them around and play find the bunny, and I got really good at knowing where they'd put it on which kind of pictures.

I have odd talents.

OK-

from one part of the body to another. Examine all exposed areas of the skin, including the face, ears, back of the neck, axillae, and backs of the hands and arms.
