This is probably not the type of music you had in mind when you created this thread, Ginger, b/c these next few songs are not what you might call "high energy" songs.
They are "feel good" songs that never fail to deliver whenever I need a spiritual pick-me-up:

Michael W. Smith ~ Place In This World:

Michael W. Smith ~ Open The Eyes Of My Heart:

Mercy Me ~ I Can Only Imagine:

Madonna's last CD, Hard Candy, will get you dancing (in your mind) even if you're sitting. No breakout song. The whole album written to flow together with club music and leaves me in a great mood.

A few songs:

Heartbeat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7I4NtppS9E

Incredible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec8cdGyTWQ0

She's Not Me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKSYojRZRC8

Only Wanna Be With You- Hootie and the Blowfish
WET/Party Hard- Andrew W.K
Eye of the Tiger- Survivor
Big Machine- Goo Goo Dolls

So many more.

Great songs guys! And Jason, I meant anything that gets you up when your down. I have been a bit down lately and heard Get right back and I was feeling a bit better. With the bad weather, and hard times, I thought we could all use our happy songs, and hear some other happy songs that might lift our spirits that maybe we might not know about. Thanks for sharing, and others keep adding! :D

He asked me to help him add it. He loves a lot of the humor you seem to, and in keeping with his name on here.....Comedy is not pretty...........he felt Wanda would be the next best bet.

I dunno, just never cared for her and her music...probably some resentment on my part that she got so famous on questionable talent...a precursor for a Britney Spears. Hundreds of better singers/dancers than Madonna (imo)...but none achieved such fame and stature.

This is a fun thread! I don't know just how "happy" real high-energy songs are though, cause for me energy comes from some invoking of passion or anger. Immediately coming to my mind...

Tyre Tracks and Broken Hearts - Bonnie Tyler
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrcrIUlWoao

Rockstar - Nickelback
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1hgVcNz ... re=related

Hazy Shade of Winter - Bangles
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFRx4PkXeVM

If It Ain't Broke, Break It - Meat Loaf
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjgHSkb2pEE

Something For the Pain - Bon Jovi
