Anyone who's interested in details about the events of 9/11 should check those out. You can check Youtube or Google Video for those documentaries.

That piece they did was and is pretty convincing. However, 90% of this place are hardcore Cons and they will immediately scoff at it as liberal bullshit.

We should all be afraid if this rock headed bitch comes to power. You think Obama is bad? Good fucking lord. As for politics, please I beg of you morons, please nominate her. I couldn't ask for anything better. She has ZERO chance of winning, even against Obama.

Obama is a smart guy. He inherited the biggest mess in history. Guess what, the recession is over. What are you CONS going to do when unemployment drops, and good times return? Need to get a new scare tactic ready, like maybe Iran or something...because you sure as hell don't have any ideas. Good luck.

Palin couldn't pass an Econ 101, much less an American history class.

This I don't understand. She might be a decent looking milf, but she's dumber than a box of rocks and difinitely not POTUS material. She's also the biggest attention whore since Perez Hilton.

Jesus Christ, 5 different schools in 6 years? And the schools are shitty at best.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/0 ... 24036.html

SPOKANE, Wash. - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin attended five colleges in six years before graduating from the University of Idaho in 1987.

Federal privacy laws prohibit the schools from disclosing her grades, and none of the schools contacted by The Associated Press could say why she transferred. There was no indication any of them were contacted as part of the background investigation of Palin by presidential candidate John McCain's campaign.

She began college at Hawaii Pacific University, a private, nonsectarian school in Honolulu. She attended only as a freshman during the fall of 1982, school spokeswoman Crystale Lopez said.

From Hawaii Pacific, Palin transferred to North Idaho College, a two-year school in Coeur d'Alene, about 30 miles east of Spokane. She attended the college as a general studies major for two semesters, in spring 1983 and fall 1983, spokeswoman Stacy Hudson said.

From North Idaho College, Palin transferred 70 miles south to the University of Idaho, the state's flagship institution. She majored in journalism with an emphasis in broadcast news. She attended Idaho, whose mascot is the Vandals, from fall 1984 to spring 1985.

She then returned to Alaska to attend Matanuska-Susitna College in Palmer in fall 1985.

Then she returned to Idaho, for spring 1986, fall 1986 and spring 1987, when she graduated. Despite her journalism degree, she does not appear to have worked for the college newspaper or campus television station, school officials said. She worked briefly as a sportscaster for KTUU in Anchorage after she graduated college.

I would never vote for Sarah Palin for President...ever.

Now on to the meat of the converation: But it will take YEARS for unemployment to drop...even with the new bi-partisan jobs bill Obama wants the economy will only add 95K jobs/month, and that is if projections are accurate which I doubt, because politicians (on both sides) are saying it. That is ONLY 1.14 million in a year, and with 14 MILLION out of work it will take a VERY long time to get them all employed.

By then the US will be broke because Obama and Co. are continuing to spend as fast as they can print the money, and China isn't going to keep buying out debt forever.

Ahh,I knew I smelled your ugly ass lurking. My guess is Obama is going to end the Iraqi war late this year or early next. That will do two things. Give him a giant boost politically, and also save us trillions of dollars. That war has absolutely killed this country...and all of it based on a lie. Just think where we would be now, and where the GOP would be had W not done this ridiculous war? You guys might actually have a house or even two. And before you bang away at the Administration for correctly spending our way out of this hole, remember that your guy thought it a grand idea to offer tax breaks in times of war. Hmm, someone's not too bright. Every Macro Economics 101 student worth their salt knows this recipe doesn't mesh.

No fucking way your President Obama ends the "war" in Iraq.
He can re-label it anyway he wants, but US troops will stay and keep dying.
The shit's for the long haul only, and you can blame Bush Lite for it.

What do you call it when the troops start getting sent home this August as has been hinted? What defines "ending the war?" I do blame that Motherfucker Bush for this and I can't see how any sane person could defend this war.

A lie? Try at least 10. All you had to do to determine when Bush was lying was to see if his lips were moving.

If I was traveling abroad I'd be afraid to tell anyone where I was from. That's what an embarrassment she is. "Oh, you guys got that Sarah Palin....is she really gonna run for President?" I'm blushing just thinking about it!

The secret, and it's widely held, is that when traveling abroad as an American citizen, you sew a Canadian patch on your backpack and you get treated better. True story, not making it up.

And as far as being embarrassed by Palin, what's worse, Palin or Bush? Holy Hell what a choice. I would throw Obama in there but the world loves him, so I can't- yet.

Geez Dean, don't tell them that - if they act like college kids on spring break, Canadians will start getting a bad rap! I used to work in tourism many years ago and it is true that a lot of Americans travel around foreign countries with Canadian flags sewn on their backpacks, but that only helps in Western Europe - in a lot of foreign countries, they don't differentiate between Americans and Canadians. I've met a lot of really nice Americans travelling up here and the few who weren't, well, no one would have mistaken them for being Canadian anyway.

I call it phase one of a 'troop rotation', since an inevitable
escalation in violence will yet again justify sending in
reinforcements.

What defines "ending the war?"

I define it as Iraqi-military-only within Iraq.
Otherwise, it's still an occupation, fuelling an insurgency,
a state which some like to call a war.

The Discovery Channel had a panel of mostly liberal professors and experts, and they were able to easily disprove every single point that both of those shitty documentaries tried to convey. Most points were universally viewed as downright stupid, with a few others requiring a bit more scientific explanation. At any rate, even the most ardent conspiracy theorists view those films as food for idiots. They've never been taken seriously by anyone.

Thank you. My sister tried to get me to watch that shit and I told her off hand it would be impossible to keep such a secret if any of the allegations were true, as too many people would have been involved and there would have been too much evidence. The very fact that so many people subscribe to this kind of crap tells you a lot about the state of intellingence in our country. So, to quote Frank Zappa: "It’s not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you."

I wouldn't paint the 9-11 Truth Movement as being narrowly confined to one political faction over another.
I've witnessed alot of this on both sides.
In fact, much of the activity generated by the Truthers has stemmed from Ron Paul- survivalist libertarian types, and Alex Jones new-world-order, anti-government paranoids.
In other words, the hard right.
Not surprisingly, the first national figures to openly express doubts in the official story were extreme leftist, Rosie O'Donnell, and self-identified libertarian, Jesse Ventura.
Together, they represent a fair cross-section of "believers".
