The real question is, will the Rooneys, those moral crusaders, have the balls to cut him, their star QB, when he gets convicted or at least is found civilly liable?

He'd really be rolling the dice here, man. If he's being questioned a few days later (St. Patrick's Day), he's risking missing out on a bunch of easy targets.

You know what else is sad? If Roethlisberger is found guilty, especially at the criminal level, I can 100% guarantee two things that reflect really sadly on our society:

(1) His suspension won't be anywhere near as bad as Michael Vick's; and
(2) The general public sentiment against him won't be anywhere near as bad
