Who likes storm clouds?

Postby Voyager » Fri Mar 12, 2010 2:06 am

March always brings storm clouds to the Midwest. I don't know if it's the feeling of a warm spring after a long cold winter or what, but I always like to see the clouds and wind roll in when a storm front is approaching. Just no tornadoes!

Is that weird or what?

Weird, maybe, but I love summer thunderstorms as long as the wind doesn't tear stuff up and NO tornadoes! 8)

LOVE this season... STORM CLOUDS... STORM WARNINGS... STORM WATCHES... the humidity, AHHH... after a long winter.... a much needed change in the air os starting to take place even in Iowa alread...

MY DREAM VACATION some day, storm chasing... God, studying the weather situation for the day... driving around 6 hours waiting to see if a storm pops up... getting a rush of seeing a tornado... DAMN..
but the ones you see in corn fields, not in cities... that would be tough to watch the dustruction...

Riding the storm out
Waiting for the fallout
On a full moon night in the Rocky Mountain winter
Wine bottle's low (stevew came by)
Watching for the snow
I've been thinking about what I've been missing in the city

I'm in heaven today. It's raining, overcast, very cloudy, and windy, and I am not out on the road or at the office. I stayed home to work, all cozy at home. I love days like this when I'm not out there in it. 8)

55 degrees and sunny here... incredibly nice for early March in Cleveland. I love it. I wish it was like this year-round. I'm not a huge fan of the 90+ temps. 55-70 degrees is perfect.

just watch out for the tornados and hail  it seems like it's mostly north and east of us though!

NOW it's including us. Severe thunderstorms with winds up to 60 mph heading this way. I don't mind overcast and rain but I don't like wind and tornados much!
