When MediaTakeOut.com told you guys last year that Chris Brown would NEVER be able to recover from his assault charge with Rihanna, many of you didn't believe us. Well look at what he is resorting to now in an effort to try to rehab his career.

The following message was posted on Chris Brown's official website:

I ain’t never really did this but right now I need all of my fans help. A lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back. That’s all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that except for the fans.

I don’t know what else to say. It’s nothing else that I can do. I’m doing everything that I need to do. I’m doing me as a person and I’m a better guy.

It’s on ya’ll. My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have the support. I can’t be an underground mixtape artist. That’s where we are. I just want all my fans to help me.

His only hope would be to start some kind of organization that helps abusers learn how to cope without using violence, and then take it on the Oprah Show. But even if he did that I don't think his career could recover. He's toast.

Whatever a creep he is, I don't see why his music is not being played on the radio and possibly his career ruined by being blackballed. R. Kelly is a perv for underage girls and he's still going strong. Michael Jackson was a "possible "pedophile who still had many followers even when he was tainted with it back years ago. Woody slept with his practically stepdaughter and had questionable behavior around his own children, and he's still a popular filmaker. Sean Connery hit his wife. on and on. Chris' problem is he comes across really badly in interviews and his mea culpa is disingenious, so I feel didn't help him in turning this back around.

Didn't R. Kelly and Michael Jackson beat those charges? A lot of the Jackson evidence seemed to point at the parents trying to extort him, didn't it? I don't remember.

He definitely is. I think his problem is he didn't come out and really sound remorseful. Any interview I saw he didn't come across that well and I feel hurts him more than anything. He was a huge young talent up and coming, and I feel if he didn't come across so arrogant or not seeming to comprehend the degree of this incident and had seemed more believably contrite, and not so phony, he could have turned it around better.

Yes it did. That Arvizo mother was absolutely full of shit and no proof was ever found.
The jury in that trial said that was why they acquitted - the mother.

And the reason R. Kelly wasn't convicted is they couldn't prove the age of the girl on the tape. He did exactly what he was accused of doing, but there was reasonable enough doubt as to whether the girl was actually underage.

Wanna know the difference between the other wayward guys who didn't get blackballed? They actually had talent, something to offer. For better or worse, that's the difference.

It's a lot easier to blackball a no-talent like Brown, simply move on to the next generic guy making his music. They're a dime-a-dozen in this day and age. It really speaks to how vapid both the musical offerings out there and the coinciding musical tastes of the present-day masses are. Most people who like this general type of crap probably don't even notice he's gone.
