Last fall a group of people started a Facebook campaign to bring Saturday Night Live and Betty White together. The 88 year old actress has never hosted the long running program. The campaign took off like crazy & now some 494,168 fans later, SNL has just announced that Betty White will host the Mother's Day episode this May 8th. She will be joined by former castmates, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch...... all mommies.

I Love Betty White. Coolest old lady around!

She is a class act

She and Cloris Leachman did voice work for Ponyo which came out on DVD last week. Great to see them still working. They were actually out there signing autographs for the young kids during the film's screening.

I remember watching her back in the 50's and 60's on TV. Good for her,especially after Alan Lunt died.

It looks like a feather duster. I know it is supposed to be an angel's wings. But they look like they photoshoped a feather duster on. Sorry Jason. Me and my observations.

I adore Betty White (The Golden Girls is still one of my favourite shows) and she is such a talented comedic actress. About time someone who is actually funny hosted SNL! I wonder if there is a copy of Lake Placid kicking around at Blockbuster?
