Rock Sugar - Reimaginator CD

Postby cinkidd » Mon Mar 15, 2010 2:41 pm

Thanks to Andrew posting about this band and the link to the video (which I loved) I went to Rock Sugars website and ordered their CD. I got it yesterday and I must say WOW just WOW! The songs are great and there are more surprises on the CD than one can imagine or reimagine. I love it from start to finish and now have it in my music rotation.

Good Luck Rock Sugar.

I agree totally, I just recently got the cd and it totally rocks. I can't wait to play this at my next backyard barbaque, should be some interesting reactions. Really going to be cool to see these guys in concert May 1st as well!

I wish that I could go to the concert and hear them live, so I'm pretty jealous of you, but I wish you tons of fun. Also thanks for the suggestion for my next bbq.

Steve Price interviewed Jess yesterday at ARfm--maybe you can catch the rebroadcast. It was soooo funny! Jess answered a couple of questions as Ironhide!

Why are you not coming to MRF2? I am sure Rock Sugar is going to be the next cover band touring sensation, they were discovered on pollstar.com last week and they are just fueling the fire.

I loved most of the tunes, but the one that doesn't flow well with me is "Round and Seperated". I just don't think they blend well for some reason. The rest do pretty good with Shook Me Like A Prayer, Kickstart Your Rhapsody, Voices In The Jungle, Prayin For A Sweet Weekend and Dreaming Of A Whole Lotta Breakfast working together the best in my opinion

Hello good Sir!

Just an OT observation. Were you aware that your avatar was actually taken in a bushland setting 30 mins from where I type? :)

That is too funny! I came across the picture a few years ago, just random search on Yahoo for Styx related pictures, I thought it was too good to pass up!

There is a very famous area of untouched native bushland called the Styx Valley. Old groth forrest and massive 200+ year old trees etc. There has been moves into the area by woodchipping companies backed by the government. Lots of protests and lots of arrests/fighting/controversy.

So save the Styx, is actually the Styx Valley in Tasmania's southern wilderness :)
