I heard he could change the entire cadence of a song at Perry's subtle command, that's how in tune those two were to each other.

He wasn't interested in waiting and reforming with a new singer after they were lied to and left high and dry. He wanted to tour with the classic lineup, make a lot of loot and then go back to what he loves ... jazz. So, yes, he wasn't interested in a lineup that didn't include Nostrildamus, but it's only because of the absence of $$$. I'm quite sure he thinks Nostrildamus is an asshole. Maybe that's why he doesn't perform or release anything. He probably thinks everyone thinks he's an asshole and he's embarrassed to come out. He doesn't have to face those electronic deposits to his bank account.

After watching a Toto DVD, circa 2003, last night, I realized how much they sounded like shit. It was very disappointing, since I was always a fan of Toto. I think they needed to retire. I put the Journey Live in Manila DVD in after that and realized how good Journey still sounds in comparison.
