BOB SEGER TO TOUR THIS FALL!!

to anyone that cares... Seger set to tour a little this fall... He is one act I have not seen, that I REALLY want to see before he stops altogether.
And I think a Journey/Seger tour would be a damn great double bill!!

Bob Seger [ tickets ] casually mentioned he's planning to tour this fall during a Friday (3/26) morning radio interview in Detroit. Seger, a Detroit-area resident, unexpectedly revealed the news on the final show of WOMC-FM (104.3) morning man Dick Purtan, according to the Detroit Free Press. Purtan retired after 45 years on the Detroit airwaves.
Seger said the plans for a fall tour--probably in October--have been in the works for just a few days.
"And of course we'd play here," the hometown rocker said.
Seger and the Silver Bullet Band last played Michigan during the band's 2006-'07 outing. During the tour, Seger played 10 shows in the area, including sold-out dates at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Joe Louis Arena and Cobo Arena.
In related news, Seger's album, "Early Seger Vol. 1," is now available nationwide at Walmart stores. The album previously was available only regionally.
