I answered Classified Ad in the "TV / Film / Video" Section for Extra Work.

And here's the answer I got!

Thank you for your response for work on FX tv series "LIGHTS OUT". I would love to use you on Friday April 9th 2010. It will be a full day shoot and could possibly start early in the morning but will probably only go for about 6 hrs at the most...Please hold the day and I will get back to you later in the week with details in another email. Thanks again.

I quit my job, had 2 job ops fall through, and have been denied Unemployment Compensation -
this is a PAYING JOB and came about at the RIGHT TIME!!! YES!!

I never understood why anyone would quit a job without having another one in the bag, unless you simply don't need the money.

IF you cant stand where you are at... and there is no hope... and you feel you are being used as an employee, why would you stay just to get a check and be miserable for your whole life...

Good for you Nora... I was a volunteer extra last fall in DM for a film... it was a blast, but lots of standing around waiting.

I understand that, but if you need money, how does it make sense to live without a paycheck. BTW, I'm starting to hate where I work, but I'm not leaving til I have another job because I still need to pay my bills. Admittedly, I quit a job before but I had over 100 grand in the bank at the time. Times have changed. :cry:
