New RATT album "INFESTATION"

Postby Rip Rokken » Thu Apr 15, 2010 10:44 am

MP3's are already out -- CD coming April 20th. I haven't listened to the new clips yet except for a few seconds -- sounds very much like classic RATT. Anyone have any thoughts?

Just now listening to the clips and have to agree with you. I wasn't planning on picking this album up, but I may change my mind now. Sounds pretty good.

I think I'm just going to order this one blind. Doubt I'll be too disappointed.

I kinda get this feeling it could be one of their strongest, songwriting-wise anyway. What do you think? how does it compare to their best albums?

They're playing a record release party at the Cubby Bear in Chicago in May. I already bought VIP tickets. Warrant is also on the bill. Anyone else on here going? I think tickets are only $20.

"Shame Shame Shame" and "Lovin You Is A Dirty Job" are two of my favorite RATT songs of all time. I tried unsuccessfully for years to get Juan Croucier to sell me the blue Jackson bass he uses in the "Lovin" video.

KICKIN!!! I honestly thought I'd outgrown the RATT sound years back, but I was wrong.

LOL -- no smooth jazz here, amigo!

4 songs in, and this is a great CD. Might be the best RATT's ever put out. Great songwriting and production.

Just wrapping up song #11 and have to say, Infestation is an EXCELLENT listen song for song! Love the classic Pearcy-style lyrics in the last song "Don't Let Go"... a little nod to David Lee Roth, too!

"I'm gonna get me some leg tonight for sure, and I don't care who I'm with!"

Damn, this is a fun album!

It's up there and I;m not really a Ratt fan (another questionable singer....much like Dokken), but the album and Stephan sound great!

Ok, LOL... Putting that together with your thoughts on Crazy Lixx, I think I'm going to just do the opposite of everything you recommend.
