TMZ reports that Larry King and Shawn Southwick, who filed for divorce Wednesday in California, did not have a prenuptial agreement.

"She is a tall, good-looking blonde and that pretty much explains it," a source told TMZ of King's refusal to demand a prenup.

The CNN host is worth an estimated $144 million. The New York Post reported last year that he was also a Madoff victim: the paper claims that he lost over $1 million in Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme.

California law dictates that spouses split earnings accumulated during the marriage right down the middle.

In my world, Larry King was soooo over in the late 80's. TV shows like Extra get fixated on subjects that are worth 2 x per week .Turn them off ! This includes Tiger, Sandra Bullock, Kate, Jake etc. This is tabloid TV and I don't care about the nonsence(self created) in their lives. Please show me some normal people in Hollywood or going for their 15 minutes. Sad ! what fading stars will do for publicity and the stench that hounds them for pictures. Stop buying tabloids and spare us all.

I truly don't understand how getting rich would be enough of an incentive to spending years degrading yourself in a loveless marriage. I'm not sure if they are really stupid or really clever in getting what they want. I know I couldn't do it.
