I havent seen it, but I thought for $20 bluray, you cant go wrong , specially if this will be the movie that will show what my bluray player and TV is capable of.....
Discuss !

I saw it in 3-D IMAX, so I don't think I'll buy it.........cause it just wouldn't get any better than that.

Exactly. Movies like that are for the cinema only.
Yep, but if youre a moviefreak and have a home theater system, Im sure it'd be something nice to have in your collection....

I saw it twice in IMAX. Was better the first time. But I'm going to pick up the Blu-Ray this weekend because it'll look sweet on my 50" Hitachi and Bose surround system.

For what it's worth, I thought it looked VERY good in Blu-Ray. 3-D is fine and dandy, dandy and fine, but I never thought it was extremely clear (and headaches and the resulting fuzzy vision every 20 minutes didn't help). The 2-D conversion looks downright awesome, and there was probably more depth to the picture than anything I've seen.
It's not the greatest movie ever made by any stretch of the imagination, and they probably could have done a lot more than they did. That said, James Cameron has to be one of the best storytellers working in movies right now. With many directors, this thing would have fallen flat (and I'm NOT talking about effects), and it's a credit to him that it works.
