Exactly here is the opposite song basically off the same album. I love this album, if you are into Brazilian Jazz

I post British and Irish bands on here all the time. I guess everyone just ignores my links to music and, thus, doesn't know. just look at my signature.

Feeling neglected, Jana?  I had added British and Canadian along with the US ( should have added Irish too) as being represented often before but deleted to not discourage music that may not have been heard before from those countries.

Another Norwegian singer/songwriter and guitarist I really love is Espen Lind and gorgeous too. I discovered him a few years ago when buying Kurt's music.

When Suzanna Cries - http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/chNdBjz4T6Q&hl=en The end part where Kurt comes out and does a duet is how a duet is supposed to be done, where the voices compliment each other, instead of trying to oversing the other.

Looks Like You - http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/SZ47jPShySw&hl=en

Here he's on piano - Beautiful song and version - Unloved - http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/riEBGC7dCrY&hl=en

Lucky for You - http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/fv2Q_vsLHag&hl=en

He's co-written hits and songs for Beyonce and Train, etc.

World music artists whose records my mother played included Hugh Masakela and the late Miriam Mekeba, list goes on. Good lord, mom wore these two songs out!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAG9Q9OzUNc - Hugh Masakela "Grazing in the Grass"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqJ7jJTfLR8 - Miriam Mekeba "Pata Pata" - Miriam was of the Xhosa tribe, people who click their tongues while they speak. Can't offer a respectable example, but listen carefully to the clicking of Miriam's tongue in this song.

I've heard that song before but not by that artist. I can see why your mom loves these tunes. Just fun, smile inducing, danceable music. :)

Yeap, mom's dad was West Indian, so you can imagine all the booty shaking she did during these songs! Glad you like them and remember them. :D
