My significant other won about $192 on Ice Box. He did even better at Oaks. The horse I bet on in the Derby- Backtalk- finished dead last.

You're full of shit Pizza Face. The horse went off at 7-1, meaning that you had to wager about 70 bucks to WIN on Super Saver. Just be honest. Had you had the 70 dollars you could have went to MR Fest.

I had Pady o Prado and that fucker went off at 11-1 and paid 7.40 to SHOW. I originally had Saver, Pady, Dean's Kitten and Sidney's Candy in a Trifecta box for 24 bucks but switched it to Pady WPS for a $30 ticket. Never change your original ticket!

I knew the mud would bother Sidney and I knew Lucky would be fucked by the rail trip...his race was over 100 feet into the race.

I KNEW some on here would bet Backtalk because of the Journey angle, LOL. That horse had only won about 115K in 4 races, denoting a weak class and weaker competition.

Busted- It still doesn't matter. You still had to have 70 bucks to bet on the horse to WIN, regardless if whether it was a co bet or not. And before you try to lie your way out of this and say you bet an exacta or trifecta, you can't, because you already said your a Super Saver fan, and you never mentioned Ice Box, who would have had to be included in the exacta. Also, I know you didn't bet on Super Saver to PLACE or SHOW, because that would have cost you even more than 70 bucks.

You're fucked PF. But I'll await your next lie, err, lie.

By the way, where in the Hell did you place your wager? Milwaukee Downs? LOL, lying bastard.

Here Nora, Horse Racing Betting 101:

Simple. You WIN, PLACE, SHOW (First, second and third), and also exotic bets like EXACTA(First two in order), and TRIFECTA ( first three in order).

Example...in the KY Derby, Super Saver went off at odds of 7-1, meaning, that every 1 dollar you wager, if he wins, you get 7 dollars back. The payoffs are always in $2 dollar wagers, so when the tote board says, "Super Saver paid 16.00, it means he was 7-1(7 dollars x 2, + the $2 dollars you wagered). You get that?

Here's what a Tote board will look like:

Horse Number (4) WIN payoff (16.00) PLACE payoff (8.00) and SHOW payoff (5.00)
Horse Number (2) PLACE payoff (7.00) and SHOW payoff (4.00)
Horse Number (10) SHOW payoff (7.00)

Notice how the winning horse pays off in all three categories? One could bet it to WIN, PLACE or SHOW, or all three. Consequently, the PLACE horse only pays for second and third, and the SHOW horse only pays for third. (I used rounded off numbers in the payoffs, and excluded the cents)

Now an exacta would look like this-- #4 and 2 paid (32.00) (Notice there are two horses in this payoff)

And an Trifecta would look like this: #4, 2 and 10 paid 112.00. (three horses) ..(Again, I am making up the prices but you get the drift.

Superfecta would be like this: #4, 2,10 and 12 and paid 2,450.00. (4 horses)

PF still hasn't refuted my assertion that he didn't make 500 bucks or wagered 70 to win. The numbers simply don't add up unless he wagered on an exacta or trifecta, and if he had, he would have said that or included the other horses.

Not really, we played for free.i told the girl with the pull tabs that i had a gambleing problem, she she followed me around trying to sell me pull tabs,i bought 3, and got 3 more free and won on the last one.The whole whole fuckin band spent $50.00 trying to win, and they kept trying to get me into it. i did it out of obligation ,and i won $100.00. the grand prize was $250.00. Back in the day i would have bought 50 more pull tabs to try to win the total.i took the what i won and was satisfied. i blew $500.00 at a county fair awhile back,so i felt good today, i was sober for a change

NO smarty pants!! I didn't even notice Backtalk because I already knew I was going to bet Dublin. My boyfriend pointed it out because he thought it would be a good one to bet. (He's usually great about that stuff) He didn't know it was a Journey song BTW. So I switched and bet Backtalk.
