Hold the applause Deb until Don Dokken and Michael Eden are added. Otherwise it's just half a show. :)

 Nuh uh, that end jam session and possibility of seeing Mr Big live, so excited....almost made me piddle my pants.

I've seen Eric, Jeff and Kip all on stage together once before and would definitely love to see that again! :D

I usually don't complain...lol. but...

I vote for assigned seating, less bands/larger sets, and a bit more organized meet and greets. Missed a bunch of musicians due to groupies, VIP passes, and an overall presense of rude/obnoxious fancows....sorry.

I really had fun...so I'm not actually whining...lol

I am LMAO, again!! Truly, you don't come across as

Too many repeat bands from this year. Need something new. Sit down for what I'm about to say, but Soto would be good for a fest like this.

Can we all agree - Saint John was right about one point (ahead of time) about the fest. No seats/standing for 3 days was a problem.

I would say my biggest concern was the length of the DAY. 3 days is ideal, but 12 hr days are a bit much...I say this because there really wasn't ample time to interact with people...Friday was neat because you had all day to socialize...I'm thinking perhaps 12p-9pm would be sufficient for Sat/Sun, giving the remainder of each day to do other things....

Ending@9PM is good for Sunday, in the event you have to go to work Monday, but it is too early for Sat. evening. I really think if I had
had a chair SUN. I would have been a happy little hefer!! Seats on the floor, for use between sets, is GOOD!!
I loved the Venue and the atmosphere was fantastic ... I personally preferred the balcony, but it could've used more seats too!! ...

I would do 6 or 7 to 12 on Friday, the whole day Saturday, and like others have said end by 9 or even 10:30 on Sunday - for the locals to go home at a reasonable time. OR (to think out of the box a little) have your headliner go on so they end no latter than 10:30 (or preferably sooner) and then have one of the no name bands come on last (ending at 12:15ish). The people that are staying the night and/or hardcore melodic rock fans will stay anyway for that.

But where is Andrew? Did you guys leave him buried among all the debris left behind at the end of Sunday night?

I definitely saw him Monday morning at about 7:30-8:00 on my way out to Starbucks, so I know he survived.

Thanks for bringing it up or a least opening the door. Andrew, we don't need specifics or any other private financial/business success of this event, but did this weekend allow for Melodic Rock to stay in business for awhile longer? A lot longer?

Looks good B! But add Trixter again! They're a great fun live band! And Danger Danger and Winger would be so awesome again!

I loved the venue, it was really cool how the whole weekend went being set up like that. Yes the 12 hour days of standing was a lot, but the 12p-9p time frame mentioned would be pretty cool. It was kind of sad this time that the nights ending at midnight or after, everyone was exhausted and not quite up for the hanging out after we all usually do, lol.

I thought the location was GREAT! That area all around was nice and had some great neat places to eat for a break, and being more central like that makes it easier for people traveling for the event to not have to travel really far, which costs more. Sorry but California gets everything already music wise, and would be way too far and too much $ for east coasters. I think Chicago was a great pic, but if not the next pic, keeping it somewhere central would be best IMO, so everyone who wants to come can consider coming without breaking the bank for travel to get there.
