TV replays show the human error on a daily basis. Whether it is baseball, basketball , or football replays can infuriate. I would just hate to pay huge $$$ & then get home to watch the officials get it wrong all week long in replays. Football suffers the most because of the 16 game season. I believe the technology is available, but the strong union for refs would lose their jobs and the refs !

They made some pretty shitty calls against the Magic as well, especially the 2 on Redick.

I hate both teams and wish an asteroid woulda destroyed the Amway Arena or whatever that stupid fuckin fairweather-fan filled arena is called, but I gotta commend the Celtics for rubbing it in every one's faces, from the casual fans to the experts in their run so far. It's funny to see the Magic falling prey to the same problem the Cavs had last year which the Magic were able to capitalize on - much too easy first and second rounds leaving them rusty when a good team that has a bit of a series under its belt coming through and playing tough.

I'm not gonna badmouth a former Blue Devil, Matt. Refs were just awful...Rondo trips in first half, not called for traveling...yet trips in second and is called. Pierce's 4th foul was a joke, as well as Perkins's phantom illegal screen at the 7:11 mark of the 4th. Not to mention Howard is a god-awful low post player. He'll never be confused with McHale, who incidently, is the best low post player I've ever seen...Dwight travels every time. His pivot foot changes every second.

As far as weak 1st and 2nd rnd opponents...I believe the ATL swept Boston this year, yet Magic swept Hawks. The NBA is all about matchups....

Boston's regular season is obviously no barometer. They were a banged up, sleeping giant. The Hawks were a BAD team and have been all along. Absolutely 0 heart and not enough talent, plus an overrated "superstar" in Joe Johnson. Even if you disagree with me there, the fact is, bad matchup, good matchup, no heart opponent or not, the Magic absolutely steamrolled the Hawks and had no opportunity to get "game tough," just like we did last year. It is not easy to play clowns in sports at any level and then have to come out and face a battle-worn opponent... I don't care who you are or if you're even slightly better than said battle-worn opponent.

Dwight Howard is a joke of a player. The guy gets a few phantom blocks added to his stats every game, never met a driving player he didn't enjoy fouling, and has 0 low post offensive zest ... even under the guidance of Patrick Ewing. Aside from that, the assclown was flashing that stupid grin when his team was facing a 2-0 hole following 2 home losses, down by 1 with just a few minutes to go... guy has the heart and killer instinct of the LeLion.

Also gotta love the trademark Vinsanity choke job on those two free throws. You can always count on Vince to choke. Orlando was a better team with Hedo.
