If you ever got to listen to this man talk, he was so much more than a Basketball coach. He's the kind of guy you would follow over a hill into battle. The Audie Murphy of Sports. I got to listen to him years ago at one of his seminars. The Most humble and gracious person you could ever meet.
He will be missed.

One of the best, ever. What a long and productive life this man lead. I'm not sure I want to live that long. R.I.P. Coach!

I agree with what both of you said. He was so much more than a basketball coach. He was a great human being and leader. I once heard him talk about his wife and it was heartbreaking hearing him talk about her and how much he loved her. He said that without her he would have been nothing and that she was the one deserving all the accolades.

Farewell to the Wizard of Westwood.

As a UCLA alum I'm proud that of all the teams in the NCAA, he worked his magic on the Bruins. RIP Coach Wooden.
