A few months ago, I made a post about a new rock band from the Chicago area, LOVEBLAST. Some of you checked them out and actually seemed interested, so now I'm coming here to ask a huge favor of you. They are in the Eventful contest to open up for KISS in Chicago. They are currently in 1st place and have a genuine chance at winning the opening spot. The guys are big KISS fans (in fact, they've covered "Detroit Rock City," "Love Gun," "Rock And Roll All Nite," and "Deuce") and this would be an extremely cool experience for them. However, more importantly, it would be a very important career opportunity for them. They are a fun, energetic, rocking band that's also professional and musically talented. The guys are in their 20s and have been LOVEBLAST since June 2007, though their musical experience goes back further. They released their full-length, self-titled debut CD in February 2010. They are first and foremost an ORIGINAL band, but have covered the KISS songs mentioned above and also Night Ranger's "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," Poison's "Talk Dirty To Me," Guns N' Roses' "You Could Be Mine," and others.
