What a complete slimeball

Postby KenTheDude » Thu Jun 10, 2010 6:32 am

Apparently, Gary Coleman's wife/ex-wife took photos of him before & AFTER his death and "allegedly" sold the photos to the media. What a fine upstanding citizen.

Saw the photo... I refuse to post or link it, not that it's not widely available... but that's just wrong.

The wife is IN the photo, leaning over him, like, posing with him, and looking at the camera.

Why would you do that when someone is dying?! That's SO sick.

Someone should send the link to Emmanuel Lewis, just in case.

I guess we know why she married him. He was no angel either, but with a wife like her you can see a little why. Morbid terrible and sick.

Allegedly, I allegedly really allegedly think she allegedly killed him. Allegedly, anyway.

And a world-class dumbass! She sells it to American Media, who owns and runs it in The Globe with the headline, "GARY COLEMAN - IT WAS MURDER!"

:?

Okay...I'm confused. Did she call the photographer before or after she called 9-1-1? Because in the 9-1-1 recordings, IIRC, she claimed to be so disturbed & distraught that she was unable to render any aid to her severely injured husband. Hmm...very interesting...

From what I've read, she hired a PR firm to take the pics -- that is an all-time low and makes the whole thing reek to me.

I think he looks like a cross between the 'Reverend' Sun Myung Moon and Bono.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Watch this video, and you'll realize he's not a fool or maybe some kind of lunatic:

Now, dang! I've been jamming on that song since I was 17 or 18, and I NEVER realized it was a cover!!! Here's the original, and wow... even the QR video recreates many of the same scenes.

Lisa Dalbello is great - she sings on one of the songs on Alex Lifeson's solo CD Victor. She even sounds a bit like old school Geddy Lee on it - couldn't find a link for the song. I may upload it later...

Wow, I'd never heard of her, but I did have the Victor album. I remember liking the first song and hating the rest for some reason. Maybe I didn't listen to it enough.

Ah, you Yankees  - she's Canadian, eh. She was a big deal here in the 80's, always just went by Dalbello, minus the Lisa.

edit - oops - messed up the quote somehow

This has turned into quite a bizarre deal, but then again it involved nothing but a bunch of bizarre individuals to begin with. The dude was always in a heap of troubles over the years, backing over people in Vegas and shit. Plus there are tons of people in this world who got raw deals like he did in life, and the real good ones were able to leave that behind them and succeed. In his case it seems he dragged that issue on and on and on throughout his entire life.

Lastly, if this guy had anything of value left behind, I'm sure his parents would have hired some attorney to try and get it instead of her. As the law is (I think) if a child dies but leaves no will or has no legal spouse, the property defaults back to the living parents, unless there are official documents that exist that state otherwise that the child had filed before death.

Her work hasn't gone totally un-noticed. She's featured here with the fabulous Mr. Boz Scaggs on "Miss Sun":

Is it just me or does Bozz Scaggs sort of sound like one of the Muppets singing?

About Dalbello, what exactly did she do, sing in the song or was she just the chick in the video only?
