Definitely on my list to visit. :D But I'd have to hit New Zealand first, or I'd never hear the end of it. Got an Aunt and Uncle and cousins spread out between Auckland and Coramandel that have been wanting us to visit.

Very beautiful place for sure. I've seen all kinds of pics from family (lived in Sidney before moving to Auckland) and Australia and New Zealand have some absolutely stunning scenery.

Yeah, but it snows there sometimes! I prefer 42C summers to that!   Although, Davenport does have the raspberry farm and great cheese. Mmmmm, lavender cheese. But no Haighs or Golden North - nah, I'll stick with South Australia ;)

I was kidding about you be a lazy assed fuck, but was saying that I worked like a slave all night, or I would have dropped the Midnight Oil reset on here first. :)

Moisture is good, I love rain, I just hate snow with a vengeance. I didn't experience it until I was 26, when I discovered TV lied and it isn't soft and fluffy and dry. Hence, stealth rain, since it gets you wet 15 minutes after you've been out in it.

Come to think of it, no one on TV every does the icy pavement penguin waddle walk either.

Untrue. The Oils were great, no doubt, but for kick-arse live music, the Hoodoo Gurus and Mental As Anything have them squealing in the dust.

Oh please. Peter and the boys were UNREAL in a "live" setting. Take a poll...anyone who actually has seen the Oils knows what I am talking about.

Pure, shear, ENERGY! The bands you list aren't even in the same STRATOSPHERE as Midnight Oil.

Um dude - I've seen the Oils play live more than a few times. I've also seen a shit load of other Aussie bands play live. No doubt, Midnight Oil had some serious stuff going on, but to say they are the best Aussie band live simply ain't true. Fan-bloody-tastic, yes. Best live vibe - no, not by a long shot.
