No hate for Nickelback here, they're from a small town right here just outside the city. Happy for their incredible success. Great live band for some good old hard crunchy rock! :) LOL, I hear that song blaring from my daughters stereo at least once a week.

 Good old Darby Mill of the Headpins. They are playing here next month with Nazareth. Thinking of going.

Love Honeymoon Suite, they still kick major arse live, recently saw them.

LOL bah Loverboy. Liked Haywire better. Always liked the singer's stage charisma and voice better, Never got the big deal about Mike Reno.

LOL, was just coming in to add that one. They are still around, have played here a couple times. Always thought the singer looked liked the lovechild of Stephen Tyler and Jimi Jamison.

I could spend all night in this thread but I have stuff to do! Go to this guy's YT channel - he always has some of the best Canadian bands, usually some lesser known stuff.

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=69Lovett#g/u

He's got of few of my favorites on there right now - The Stampeders, Crowbar, Foot in Cold Water.

(But of course my favorite is and always will be the Guess Who)

Hey, they changed the video for Black and Blue - originally it showed the band playing at a roller rink (I'm pretty sure I still have their album on vinyl)!

Now that we have pop, country, and adult contemporary artists listed, I can mention Glass Tiger!
