My dad was a deadbeat who ended up in jail most of my life. He died last year and I didn't even go to his funeral. I didn't even know him. I am now raising two awesome daughters of my own with the help of my wonderful wife. Being a dad takes more than just making a baby, and I was never given an example of how to do it. But I am just doing it and being there for them and I am not complaining.

To all of you guys who are there for your kids... Happy Fathers Day!!! The rest of you.... get with the program!!! It's never too late unless they are dead.

Happy Father's Day! To every daddy here on MR. You guys are more precious to your children than you will ever know. To my husband Dan (Comedyisnotpretty),

Thank you for being the most wonderful dad in the world to my children.
You have loved them more than their own father, and you have been there for the good and the bad. You have been there and seen to their needs. You didn't have to be such a great father, but when I needed you the most, you stepped up to the plate and loved these children as if they were your own. I love you so much, and I am happy to be your wife.
Love,
Ginger

Thanks! I was pretty lazy. I had just enough energy to buy us front row tickets to see Robert Plant in a few weeks.

My day started with breakfast in bed, then a lazy morning, off to see Toy Story 3 (AMAZING movie), lunch, back home, nap on the couch with my daughter - a rarity - then an after dinner ice cream run.

Best Father's Day yet... :)
