I've seen that happen in one part of my house which has me curious. But I have tried to talk to anyone sitting there yet. It's something being talked about. So it must be happening to some people. Maybe if you have a really strong signal, it's just not noticeable. Will be interesting to see if it's really a problem. I haven't had trouble with one call so far.

Another thought I had on this was if it only happens when actually touch the metal band, so anyone that has a case for the phone might not experience it...

I thought of that too. I didn't buy the case. I was hoping to wait for a cheaper knock off  but the silicone around the side band could make a difference I bet!

Well considering its been discussed all over the web since Wednesday, I will assume that you were the one who brought it up for the rest of us to discuss :)

There is a reason Apple is selling those bumpers, cause they knew that the metal antenna might be affected by user's touching it in certain ways. Luckily I havent had any problems, or else I would call up Apple and have them give me a $29 "bumper" for FREE !

Well - there you go...

I only saw the video link I posted after a friend of mine with an iPhone was having the same issue. Since I don't have an iPhone, I didn't research it any futher. I figured posting it here was "research" enough... ;)
