Vince Neal in trouble again!

Not a big fan but I thought he had cleaned up his act; supposedly clean and sober, getting a facelift and everything else prior to getting the band back together. :( I guess this isn't really a big surprise.

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/164250 ... crue.jhtml

Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil was stopped in Las Vegas early Monday morning (June 28 ) and arrested on suspicion of DUI. According to TMZ, the singer was taken to the Clark County Jail, where he is currently being held. A search of the county's prisoner database confirmed that Neil was being housed at the facility in his adopted hometown, with bail set at $2,000. A hearing in the case was set for later Monday morning.

A Las Vegas Police Department spokesperson declined to offer additional information on the arrest at press time, but E! Online reported that it was accident related, but that no details were available on whether any injuries were involved.

Neil, 49, just released his first solo album in 15 years, Tattoos & Tequila, which features covers of songs by Cheap Trick, the Sex Pistols, Scorpions and Creedence Clearwater Revival. He also penned a memoir by the same name, which hits stores in September.

The flamboyant singer of the 1980s metal band was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years probation in 1986 following a fiery car crash that killed Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley. Neil was charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI in the incident.

Earlier this month, Neil oversaw the opening of his tequila bar, Vince Neil's Tres Rios, at the Las Vegas Hilton. TMZ reported that Neil appeared at Tres Rios shortly before his arrest on Monday. It is one of several businesses Neil has launched in recent years, including a luxury air charter service he unveiled earlier this year, Vince Neil Aviation; a restaurant called Dr. Feelgood's Bar and Grill; a Las Vegas tattoo parlor called Vince Neil Ink and a signature line of tequilas called Tres Rios.

I don't know what's worse, the DUI or the album release that consists of just retreads of old songs from years gone by.....really gone by.

Wait a minute MG and Deb. You're a fan? I just want to know why, because if I was ever found guilty of being hammered and driving, thus killing somebody, I wouldn't expect to have many fans. The fact that this guy did kill somebody, via DUI, and now has opened up bars, and releasing books seeming glorifying 'tequilia,' I don't get how one sleeps at night. If I were the one who was guilty of DUI manslaughter, I sure as shit wouldn't be strolling around opening bars up and trotting the name 'tequila' out like it was a manly gesture. And now to get stopped in the "early a.m" in Las Vegas?- yeah, I'm sure alcohol wasn't an ingredient at all. Why he did only 30 days is bewildering to me; This guy has scumbag written all over him, despite how good the Crue was. This is sickening.

I'm a fan of Vince fronted Crue's music. I am definitely not a fan of anybody that drives under the influence, whether they be family, friend or foe....or celebrity. Nothing pisses me off more than somebody with a God complex getting behind the wheel of a vehicle after drinking.

I bet this brings up bad feelings for the family of the drummer he killed back in 1986.

If I ever killed someone from drinking, I would never drink again.

That was one of my major points. Hell, not only that. the guy is flaunting his love for alcohol in the name of newly opened bars, and titled books, as if to say, "let's party!" Dude, you should be in fucking prison, not living it up in Vegas. At the very least, he should never have another drink again. What a slap in the face of the drummer he killed. And yet, he still has fans.

Fact of the matter is, any number of people, here or anywhere, have gotten
behind the wheel of a vehicle impaired and just been plain lucky!! Doesn't make it
right or make them any less guilty just because everyone survived ...this time!!

And I agree ...will he ever learn?!?!

I love this dude's music, but this waaaay fucked up. I'd like to see at least a year in jail for this considering his past ... if he's guilty.

He paid out a ton of money to the family of the drummer that he killed. What's interesting is he only spend 15 days in jail for this, they let him out early for good behavior.

He is an alchoholic plain and simple. He killed someone and because of celebrity status got a slap on the wrist. But even such a checkered past doesn't keep him from doing it yet again. Next time it could be a school bus filled with children.

I get pissed off when I hear about people laughing over getting plastered but yup I made it home no problem.

They got lucky.........if you do this all the time the odds are it will catch up to you. Unfortunately for other people on the road with you. I have a friend who lost her son to a drunk driver on Christmas eve. The whole family were hospitalized, and when she came to she learned her only son had been killed. Just guess how she feels about Christmas now. Much less someone bragging about how they don't know how, but somehow they got home after tying one on. Please use common sense. :D

People need to get a cab or a designated driver to take them home. You may be saving a life.........including your own.

Vince Neil can afford a limo to take him home. There is no excuse.

Nah, what you just eloquently sid falls on deaf ears. "Fined, suspended sentence, play on Vince" seems the cool way of thinking here. The folks on here who love Neil are just as bad as Vince himself. Complete garbage of a human being.

Hey fuck you. Last time I checked, I didn't KILL anyone. Yeah, I can drink a 12ver in 12 sips, but I am smart enough to not get on the Pacific Coast Highway and pass a car at 90 mph on a double yellow. I am no saint by any means, but I also am not seen bumping around opening up bars and glorifying my drinking as a champion of all things fun. For you to even look at a possible reason to respect this douche speaks volumes of YOUR character.

You tried to find a way to still bow down to Augeri and Journey after what they did and now you are trying to do the same with Vince Neil. Unbelievable.

First of all if you want to feel bad for someone feel bad for the INNOCENT people in the other car that vince AND razzle hit...They did nothing...They were injured and that is where the money went and why he was allowed out of jail (like it or not, he was worth more to them free than behind bars). As for Razzle (the drummer as you guys call him) he made the decision to get in that car with vince and he allowed vince to driver as well. He is as much a part of what happened and the problem as vince and he paid a terrible price for it.

Also, how can anyone disrespect Red in such a way!

You know, after the last time I saw Def Leppard in concert, I don't mind tapegate. I wish to goodness Leppard had taken mercy on the crowd and played us a tape instead of Joe Elliot. eeeeee...So maybe tapegate was doing the crowd a favor.

Yeah, If Survivor ever had to play a tape at a concert. They could play it on a Panasonic boombox circa 1988 for all 12 people in the audience! Leppard doesn't have that luxury as they're still somewhat of a draw.

O.K. Maybe I am reading you wrong, but did you just sit here and justify the injuries of the the people in the other car by saying that they got their money? How about not driving drunk instead of being a selfish prick who thinks their superman when they drink and drive? And as for his friend he might differ with you on that point.........oh wait, he can't he's pushing up daisy's...........I bet his family wished they had both had half a brain between them and called a cab.

Drinking and driving is stupid, unnecessary, and deadly.

I wish my friend were here to let you have a peice of her mind. All the MONEY in the world will not give you back your ONLY Child!

I know you revere him as a musician, but he needs to use common sense. Apparently he left his back at the bar. Celebrity should not excuse risking other peoples lives on the road.

Case in point ..........another brain child........Lindsey Lohan

Hmmm, I didn't think about that one before. Yeah these two guys were both drunk, I never stopped to think about the two people in the other car. They were the real victims, the fact that the drummer was famous and died sort of took the focus away of the people in the other car. I think Vince got away with something really bad. And to only do 15 days in jail for it. Hell you can't write bad checks without spending more time in jail. Vince probably promised the guards he'd write songs about them and gave them a bunch of autographed shit for their girlfriends and kids, they let him out early on good behavior.

This band for sure has had lots of drama going on with it in the past and present. I was amazed that Lee doesn't get along with Neil at all. I would have thought those members would be tight. Guess not.
