Arizona Vs California

IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING WHY...

CALIFORNIA
The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out, bites the Governor and attacks his dog.

1. The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie "Bambi" and then realises he should stop. The coyote is only doing what is natural.
2. He calls animal control. Animal Control captures coyote and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.
3. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.
4. The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.
5. The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is free of dangerous animals.
6. The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a 'coyote awareness' program for residents of the area.
7. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.
8. The Governor's security agent is fired for not having stopped the attack somehow and for letting the Governor attempt to intervene.
9. Additional cost to State of California: $75,000 to hire and train a new security agent with additional special training re: the nature of coyotes.
10. PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files suit against the State.

ARIZONA
The Governor of Arizona is jogging with her dog along a nature trail. A Coyote jumps out and attacks her dog.
1. The Governor shoots the coyote with her state-issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.
2. The Buzzards eat the dead coyote.

And THAT'S why California is broke

This joke of an administration are doing about as well in the courtroom as they are on the economy. After Az wins I'd love to see them file a countersuit against the feds for not enforcing their law.

Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

CA is broke-dick. And why? Because there are more people sponging off the system then the amount of people who are working and are paying into it.

You're 100% correct, yet no state in this country is sought out like California. We're the envy of the world, let lone the country. You can find everything in the world in California.

AZ will win...my gut feeling...

NYT report... PRIVATELY DEM govs are worried about this lawsuit...this suit will end up being toxic for your party Dean, if the ADM follows through... you know why DEANO??? Remember its the 50 STATES not 1 federal state... and states should be able to make state laws for their own protection if needed and this is one of those times.

BTW, HUGE BREWER FAN as well after not caving to the feds, once the law was signed!! In reality the feds are doing NOTHING in illegal immigration...

and Phoenix and Tucson are great places to visit... The golfing is great, its been awhile for me... but Iowans do go there in droves during the winter months.

Educate yourself on the issue Rick. I don't care if it's one state or 30 states or 50 states, the Federal Gov't is solely responsible for border enforcement, not the individual states.

I do see the argument that AZ would want to protect itself, and that if the Feds won't do their job of enforcement, then AZ will. Yet it is still the Feds responsibility. This AZ law will be overturned, bank on it, even with the 5-4 majority in the Supreme Court if we ever get that far.
