"Florida is internally investigating what sources described as an allegation that a representative of an agent paid Maurkice Pouncey $100,000 between the Gators' loss to Alabama in the Southeastern Conference championship game to Alabama and their season-ending Sugar Bowl victory over Cincinnati. Pouncey, a standout offensive lineman who entered the NFL draft after his junior season and was taken in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers, played in the Sugar Bowl. If found to have accepted the alleged payment, he could be retroactively ruled ineligible for the game and Florida might have to vacate the victory."

this is a perfect example of how things get blown out of proportion. Florida had no knowledge of this, if its true and they turned the insttance in themselves. If it is true then I will be very disappointed in Markice Pouncey, a player that Ive met several times, and a guy that is a genuine good person. But he knows the rules and if he did it then he deserves whatever may happen to him. I know his dad was real sick and in need of a major surgery and just before thew Sugar Bowl his dad got that surgery.
The worst to happen to us would be to forfit that one game. But Cinn will still not be given the victory, NCAA rules.

Doesn't matter. "Lack of institutional control."

Hey, I feel your pain. Not only did USC get whacked, it looks like Reggie Bush seems to forfeit his little squeeze box also. Tough times indeed.

Had we had the Health Care Bill passed and law already, he wouldn't have had to finagle his way to a 100 grand. It would have been covered.

Unless, for whatever reason, the government decided that his father could not have the surgery-it might not be worth their money to pay for it

You'll never ever accept it, so I won't even try. You are Hell bent against it. Enjoy your pessimism. Enjoy what we got. Had he not had a rich donor to buy him the surgery, perhaps he would be dead now. Unfuckingbelievable.
