Absolutely. Watching Favre play quarterback in the NFL is one of my many joys of being a fan of football. I love everything about him as a player. EVERYTHING and some of these pansy, hand me down QB's that come through today should take notes on how a real man plays the position.

Take nothing away from his record & ability...he's awesome...but make a damn decision already.

As good as he is, he's like the guy who can't stand getting old and is trying to hold on to his younger self.

Great QB, and I would have said that even if had stayed with the Packers his whole carreer. Whether his constant mind changing , stalling, over the past three years is a ok is certainly debatable, but on the field a damn good QB

HATE Brett as a rival now with the already HATED Vikings... its just something sports does to you... Being a lifer as a Packer...it was a painful divorce that he left... but as dude and the stellar career he has enjoyed...you just have to love him in what he has accomplished... he is incredible man who has played through everthing thrown at em...and you have to admire that... and Brett was the perfect choice to presentt the Thomas's their espy award for courage...

I love how you refer to the man as 'Brett.' That says something in itself. How many athletes were called by their first name only? Michael(Jordan), Kareem(Abdul Jabbar), Magic(Johnson), Wayne (Gretzky), and Ichiro (Suzuki) come to mind. Adding Brett to that group is just fine with me.

The person who is trying to hold on to their younger self who just had one of, if not, thee best statistic year of his entire career. In the past 3 years, he's been to the Title game twice so the dude isn't done. People need to stop acting like we don't know what his intentions are anymore. The dude doesn't have to make a decision. There is no decision to make. He doesn't want to go through with training camp and only wants to play limited in pre-season given his age and legend. He already proved it could work last year. There's no mystery anymore and people should realize that since it comes to no shock.

I have heard the news, that Favre is flying up to Minnesota, three players went down to rescue him....or save him... or whatever a team does who wants a player way too badly... I will say the Vikings are in the HAIL MARY situation today...

Look, I've broken fingers doing things that were nowhere near as dangerous as catching a football. Breaking or jamming a finger is something that could happen even with the weakest-armed QB in the league.

Whether anyone likes it or not, Brett Favre is a legend of the sport and is better than over 98% of young QB's entering the league at 40 years old. How can't fans of the game NOT love watching this guy when you put the off-season drama behind you? The dude is the most thrilling on the field. Don't take it for granted, we won't see another like Favre ever, or atleast soon. The only person who comes close is Peyton Manning and he is a different modeled QB.

Ya know......gotta be honest, really can't imagine the NFL without Favre in it...................................................................mainly because he won't let me.

Kid came up to my buddies place and ask him for a brett farve jersey card....I started laughing and said they didn't excist..............kid ask why.....told him that they can't get the jersey off of him long enough to cut it up.
