Mine has icons, but I still think it is sexy.

Windows 7 with Rocketdock, and some rainmeter customizations.

Taskbar disabled by Taskbar Eliminator.

Don't know if I want to try no task bar yet, but that's just me.

I imagine people with macs wouldn't have a hard time, as my desktop resembles a mac, only without all of the suckage of actually being a mac. I did it purely for aesthetics. I'm into art and web/design in general.

You can minimize things to Rocketdock and if you choose to there is an option to show indicators for running programs. The Taskbar is also not "eliminated" as it's just hidden. Yes, there is an option to hide the taskbar with the taskbar options, but if you mouse over any place where the taskbar is hidden, it will annoyingly pop back out and yell at you. Taskbar eliminator eliminates that annoyance :P. You press Alt-T to hide it and Alt-T to bring it back when you want it.

Also, just a tip Steveo, your wallpaper is not the correct resolution for your screen.

I don't have it as a testament to the album, I have it because it's a cool design. Besides, while the production quality
of Generations might not be so great, there is still some of Journey's musical genius in it and a few damn good songs.

I keep as few things on my desktop as possible. I'll store stuff there temporarily, like documents I intend to read. Other than that, though, just the My Computer, My Network Places, My Documents, and Recycle Bin.
