Meant to share this with y'all a while back. I wanted the scarab for a few reasons, Journey being a big one, and worked it into a cool design.

Thanks Michigan Girl. The scarab's wings are the cross of the ankh and the pentacle is circled by the loop of the ankh. All interwined and from different philosophies but all something positive in their meanings. Yes, it's a lot for just a tat, but I love having one that actually means something and that I designed. And no it didn't hurt really, it was just annoying. Felt like getting pinched over and over for about an hour. LOL

I've never understood the fascination with tattoos. To each his own, I guess. They're just not for me.

Conversationpc, it took me many years to even think about getting one, and now I have two. You're right, it's not for everyone and tattoo fever is definitely a strange thing and I've got it.

there is no problem with not liking it. Everyone has different taste and some don't like any tatts. It's rude to say what you did and you must be having some sort of dreams if you believe the latter part and teflon is a great compliment!! Thank you! I can be tough but I let things roll off me! I can think of worse names
