I'm pretty jazzed about this upcoming release. You can download a free song here.

+1 What I've heard so far sounds great! Here is some additional information I found about their new release.

Their album is called Black Country, the group's original name before "Communion" was added for legal reasons. Its release is scheduled for Sept. 20 in the U.K. on the Mascot record label and on Sept. 21 in the U.S. with the imprint of Bonamassa's label, J&R Adventures. A limited-edition double-disc pressing of the album is to include a bonus DVD with interviews of the band members, along with behind-the-scenes footage of the band in the recording studio with producer Kevin Shirley.

Album Track Listing:

1. Black Country
2. One Last Soul
3. The Great Divide
4. Down Again
5. Beggarman
6. Song Of Yesterday
7. No Time
8. Medusa
9. The Revolution In Me
10. Stand (At The Burning Tree)
11. Sista Jane
12. Too Late For The Sun

All songs on the album are sung by Glenn Hughes, with the exception of "Song Of Yesterday" and "The Revolution In Me" which are both sung by Joe Bonamassa. Hughes and Bonamassa share lead vocals on "Sista Jane" and "Too Late For The Sun". Also included is a new version of "Medusa", originally recorded by Hughes in 1970 with his first band Trapeze.

The band is planning a tour in 2011.

It's a great album....70's groovin' hard rock with a bit of blues and Zep boogie.

On Saturday, Planet Rock radio aired an hour long documentary about BCC including interviews with members of the band.

http://www.planetrock.com/ (just click on Again in the LISTEN HERE box).

BCC also just released a new video which is an excerpt from their dvd featuring :The Great Divide" a song from their new CD

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocgO6iSiU3g

BCC will be playing an exclusive and absolutely tiny album showcase for a very, very select audience on 20 September. The band will not be playing any live dates this year EXCEPT this one, so this is your only chance to see the world's best new supergroup anywhere this year. Planet Rock will be broadcasting the showcase that same night. I'm sure if you can't catch it live it will be podcast.

I just picked this album up today and man this album is killer. Stupid American only buying about 7000 copies of the album on it's initial week to push it to #54 on the charts.

I'll be honest the I'm generally not a fan of Glenn Hughes voice, but musically this album is bad ass.

Okay. I change my tune about you and Black Country. LOL I like Seal VI Commitment a lot. It's not as fantastic as Seal IV, but he never puts an album out with filler. This new CD is more mellow adult contemporary with David Foster producing it, simpler lyrically, but still catchy, good songs. I'm not a fan of one song so far, All for Love. Other than that, really enjoyable. Seal is madly in love and happy and it shows in this album.

Drummer Jason Bonham from JASON BONHAM'S LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE spoke with Rich Rogenmoser from Heard It On The X recently. During the chat Bonham says that BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION - the band also featuring vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH, TRAPEZE), Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER) and blues rock guitarist JOE BONAMASSA - will be going into the studio in January to work on their sophomore effort.
