I don't know what to think anymore.

I mean, I'm watching "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist" right now on BRAVO! Network.

It's the "Final Showdown"; they're talking to the Parents of the Contestants.....the Contestants are in their mid 20s to early 30s...
....and, I'm looking at their Parents......and I'm as old (approx) as the Parents are....

BUT GOOD GOD - THEY LOOK REALLY OLD!

And, because I'm Artistic like these "20 - 30 somethings" are, I can understand where THEY are coming from.

Am I freaking out, or what? I mean, I SHOULD, or whatever, have kids in their 20s by now....and I don't.
I'm gonna be 43 in October.

What the hell is going ON?

Another thing....one of my co-workers had her Daughter come in, with her 6 WEEK OLD baby....
the Grandmother (who is my co-worker) is in her VERY early 50s.....NOT MUCH OLDER THAN ME, RIGHT NOW.

I kinda freaked when I realized that.

Um....maybe THAT's where all this is coming from.....

Midlife crisis.........take some midol look how pretty you are in the mirror and repeat after me. I am beautiful at any age. I am doing exactly what I love to do and I am good at what I do. Girl I think the same things..........am I too old to make it in the art market. Look at Keith Richards for crying out loud. The man is mummified and it doesn't stop him for doing what he loves.

Nora, at 48 all I know is some days I feel 30 and can do all of it... other days I feel 60 and cant do any of it...

I guess it all comes from a "fear" or whatever of looking like a fool....for wanting to do this at such a "late date", y'know....?
