Can never get enough of Keith Scott's guitar tone. Nice Strat sound.

yeah, no kidding. And on that song it's not the usual 'Strat' sound.
Just a cool, well written tune. That guy seems to be a really good player in general.
Not big on speed, just really tasteful stuff.

I kinda got really REALLY sick of BA with all the movie stuff he did. But I've fairly recently
gotten a bunch of his more unknown albums. His Unplugged album is WAYYYYYYYY good.
Great arrangements on there.

Yeah, love his Unplugged album and full unplugged usually doesn't do me for a whole album.

And the strat stuff.. he does find his unique sound. It's definitely single coil but not the usual style. He also somehow manages to make a lot of the processing sound pretty natural.

I can get great clean sounds out of mine, but I'm having a helluva time getting a decent dirty without it sounding like a Bostony type of sound (blech). I've turned into one of those guitar tone freaks!

Hm, I'm pretty happy with my dirty Strat tone. FullTone FD-2 on Vintage/with Mid Boost setting engaged is great, especially on my lead channel on my amp.

I have 2 vintage 50 watt heads... a vintage 120w Marshall slant cab... and a 70's Fender twin...

I use logic's Amp Designer and Space Designer with Impulse responses from Redwires... or Amplitube Fender..

I love those Fender Vibroverb tones..

I'm still using my ZoomG9.2TT processor. The cleans are GREAT. The dirties are good, but tougher to dial in.
I've got me Tele and Rics pretty-well dialed in. The Strat is more elusive for some reason. Sometimes, I think
"Jesus, just get another amp". Then I remember hauling it and having to find a spot for it (the singer never gets
good amp spaceage). I'll figure it out. The problem might be that I'm trying to make it too distorted.

Yeah man, I was playing a decent Digitech modeler for a while because I was so sick of lugging my combo around. I just needed that feel and sustain back. Someday I'll get the AxeFX when I can afford it... maybe.

For now, can't get enough of my amp.

His best album. Westwood One Live 1987 is one of the greatest "unofficial" live albums ever.
