Brad and Barry created this gem to incidte Tom Scholz to make a new Boston album.

I've had this on CD single for a few years. I was a huge Brad Delp fan and drove from central NJ to Boston in August, 2007 to see the Brad Delp tribute concert. RTZ, one of Brad's former bands, performed this song live with Brad Maes (the keyboardist from RTZ) singing lead vocals. The concert (except for Boston's set) is available on DVD. Brad said he had always been a lead vocalist in his bands until Brad joined RTZ (Fergie Frederiksen had been involved with RTZ in its early stages), but he knew Brad could best bring his songs to life.

Here is Rockin' Away from that show:

You'll see Barry Goudreau on guitar and Sib Hashian on drums, both from Boston. Sib wasn't involved in RTZ, but played a few songs with them that night, alternating with RTZ's regular drummer, Dave Stefanelli. They used the same drum kit but would switch out their snare drums, carrying them on and off with them as they switched.

If you're a Brad Delp fan, Brian Maes wrote a song called "Set the Songbird Free" as a tribute to Brad. RTZ played it live that night. It is/was available on CD single with a video of the song. Here is that video:
