Always been partial to Champlin's You're Not Alone

Great song, some good guitar work in this song, especially for a ballad.

Here's one I've never heard before. It's called "Hearts In Trouble". I take it it's from "Days Of Thunder"? Pretty cool!

This song is one of my all-time Chicago favorites. Got to hear it live a few times.

Have you ever heard the original studio version? It lacks a lot of the guitar and is nowhere near as good.

Dawayne Bailey did some crazy live guitar work with this:

I heard it live twice, once in full back in 06 (i think) and once in 08 as part of the Champlin medley they did that year.

Never have heard the original studio version... where can I find that?

Yeah, this is a good tune. Flies under the radar a lot too.

Here's one that has never been released that they did live in '84. Was supposed to be on XVII but didn't make it for whatever reason. Champlin wrote it and sang lead. Great tune.

Champlin contributed a lot of great material and vocals to Chicago. It's too bad that live they generally stuck/stick with their 70's material. I think the lack of set list changes and lack of inclusion of his material finally drove Champlin and Chicago to part ways.
