Two women get acid thrown in their faces

Hmm... just saw a Dateline (or similar) special a few weeks ago about a model who got acid tossed in her face, and now she's severely scarred.

Just read today that two women from Washington and Arizona have also been attacked like this in just the past several days. Wonder where the attackers got the inspiration from?

If anyone suspicious approaches me on the street, I am very quick to tell them (politely but firmly) to back up.

What he doesn't say, which also always follows is, "Or I will fuck you up!" Rip's a badass. Rip and Chuck Norris are on the same level. :)

Dude, people just have to be extremely careful and aware these days. I'd love to be able to treat strangers on the street like they had good intentions until they prove otherwise. I used to, but it's not safe enough anymore. It's scary how aggressively some panhandlers have gotten and how quickly they'll approach you, and criminals are also getting ridiculously bold, so I won't let them get too close if they want to talk.

Remind me to never ask you for directions.

If you've ever walked downtown, you'd know what I'm talking about. I've run across so many panhandlers who lead off with, "Hey man, I don't mean to scare ya" or "I'm not going to hurt ya". For some reason that fails to assure me.
