Off work right now due to neck issues so I have time to use the internet again !! Yeah !! Well I guess. Some rather crappy (literally) luck has kept me away and sidelined me as a musician for an undetermined amount of time. The last month has went like so.


1, An old friend killed himself
2. My neck (c3 thru c7 started pinching nerves and put me out of work on short term disability. Cant play gigs either.
3. Our NEW (new to us but a mint 95 Toyota Cammary V6) car damn near exploded and burned to the ground moments after I got out. IF i had been at home it would have burned the house down. I have NO recourse because we had liability only as they needed pictures of the car for full coverage and we had not had time to get them to the insurance office as we had just got the car a week or so earlier. It was a gift to us so. Whatcha gonna do eh ?
4.SHIT and who knows what else started coming up through the floor drain in my FINISHED basement where studio is due to a sewer line problem and had to have the yard dug up.

All this while my doctors office repeatedly drops the ball on handling my disability claim which means ZERO INCOME. Its been a month and it is still being reviewed by the insurance company because my doc keeps leaving out shite.

Ugggg.

But its getting better ?

Keeping my head up as best I can but man life can sure beat the shit out of you sometimes. Dont know if I will be able to play with my Pink Floyd tribute band yet as playing drums for more than a few minutes is a no-no. Big show coming up in Feb too. Well those that know me please throw some good vibes my way if you would be so kind. I sure could use em.

Unfortunately, this is an industry-wide problem right now. There is so much s**t coming out of recording studios it's ridiculous. But amazingly it keep selling. Capitalize on this one?

Hey LD, good to see ya. Sorry about all the drama... when it rains, it pours. I know the feeling. But, it can't go on like that forever. It's hard when so many things seem to happen at once. But things will calm down. Always do.

oh geez, LD ...sorry to hear this ...I was reading about birds and poo in the other forum ...sounds like the bird of paradise got you good ...yikes?!? Hope all is well soon ...especially that back, buy American!
